About Us

Thank you to all my followers and customers for your support, ideas, and patience while I navigate being a new small business owner. Some of you do not know me personally, so I thought I’d to tell you guys a little bit of my story and how I became the maker of all things.

Ever since I was little, I found myself expressing my creativity in painting, decorating, and crafting. I have always felt that this was the one thing I was truly good at and passionate about. As I got older, life got in the way and I stopped doing what I enjoyed most. After becoming a stay at home mom to my silly Lily in 2017, my fiancé, Colby, decided he wanted to help kickstart my creativity by surprising me with a Cricut. I made all sorts of things and at that point I could not be stopped!

Knowing that I wanted to take my work a step further, I decided I to make a business out of my art and I knew I needed to set myself apart from other local crafters. With the support of my wonderful fiancé, we decided to open a woodworking business, Happy Camper Design Co., in 2018 and invested in machinery that would help me design unique products with increased efficiency. As a result, it wasn’t long before my work was being noticed and I became overwhelmed with custom orders. In the middle of my excitement for my newfound business, we learned of a surprise. I was pregnant with baby number 2! Once again, my aspirations had to be placed on temporary hold, but I was thrilled to give Lily a younger sibling. In 2019, we welcomed our little man, Jack Jack aka “Bro Bro”. Not long after, I dove right back into my work and was busier than ever!

I started off making signs and home décor but have recently been exploring the art of building furniture and hope to add that to my list of products soon. Currently, I market my products at The Brush Factory on Kings, and I am so proud and thankful to be apart of a community of other talented makers. I can't believe what Happy Camper has become in the past couple years and can't wait to see what the future holds for us. Thanks for tagging along and helping us grow our business!
